What we do
At Lane County Film Studios, supporting the next generation of filmmakers is our priority.
Thanks to our partnership with Community Television of Lane County, we have access to cutting-edge studio space and equipment. To ensure aspiring filmmakers receive the best possible education, we are diligently crafting a comprehensive offering of educational workshops. Topics range from screenwriting, holistic film planning, location scouting and construction, fundamental and advanced lighting techniques, basic camera operation, film editing, post-production audio and more!
Who We Are
While we may be a newcomer on the scene, our dedication to making a difference in the creative community is unwavering.
Our board of directors is composed of seasoned filmmakers and community creatives & producers. We bring extensive experience in the art of independent filmmaking to the table. Our aim is to empower aspiring storytellers, providing them with hands-on education, and fostering an environment where creativity thrives.
The educational initiatives of LCFS extend beyond filmmaking, promoting critical thinking, storytelling, and creative problem-solving skills in the community. These skills are transferable to various professions and contribute to a well-rounded, culturally enriched citizenry.
